Old Country Store Hosts TN Hospitality on its Campus (August 2024)
Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association Brings Quarterly Board Meeting to Jackson
Jackson, Tennessee — (August 14, 2024) — Jackson will host the Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association (TnHTA) for its quarterly Board Meetings on Monday, August 19, and Tuesday, August 20, 2024. This marks the first time the meetings will be held in Jackson, bringing together industry leaders from across the state, from Memphis to Bristol, to discuss key issues and opportunities in Tennessee’s hospitality and tourism sectors. The two-day event will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Jackson and is open to all members of the association.
Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store will kick off the event by hosting a site tour for board members at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m.

In conjunction with the meetings, a PAC Fundraiser Event is scheduled for Monday, August 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hub City Brewing. This event offers a prime networking opportunity with industry professionals and local leaders.
With over 2,700 people employed in the hospitality and tourism industries in Madison County alone, according to 2022 data from the Tourism Department, the TnHTA’s mission is to ensure the continued growth and success of these sectors throughout Tennessee.
